Vernon Di Carlo, tenor

Vernon Di Carlo, a New Orleans native, has recently completed a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Loyola University New Orleans.

Opera roles at Loyola include Tamino in The Magic Flute, Gerald in Lakmé, and Romeo in Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet. Di Carlo is now pursuing an Masters of Music in Opera Performance at the Eastman School of Music where he will make his Eastman Opera Theatre debut singing Tebaldo in Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi.

His professional credits include the roles of Strephon in Iolanthe and Richard in Maytime with The Ohio Light Opera, Bastien in Bastien und Bastienne with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, and solo performances with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.

Mr. Di Carlo is a student of Carol Webber.
