Lighting designer/director for theater, film and TV, Nic Minetor has been resident designer for more than 40 productions of Eastman Opera Theatre, including Candide, La Bohème, The Medium, Dialogues of the Carmelites, and Sweeney Todd, and world premiere performances of Charles Strouse’s East and West, and Lee Hoiby’s This is the Rill Speaking.
He has also been lighting designer for many Geva Theatre productions, including Agatha Christie’s Black Coffee, The Mystery of Irma Vep, I’m Not Rappaport, Every Good Boy Deserves Favor, and A Christmas Carol. Having also been lighting designer for numerous productions of Opera Theatre of Rochester and Opera Rochester, this production of Tosca will be his tenth production with Mercury Opera.
His work has also been seen at NTID, SUNY Brockport, Elmira and Nazareth Colleges.
