Ken Saltzman, Stage Manager Ken Saltzman returns to Rochester for Tosca after stage managing Mercury’s productions of La Bohème, Don Giovanni, Norma, and Madama Butterfly. Ken has stage managed the Yuletide Celebration with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra for the past 9 years. With Michigan Opera Theatre, Ken’s recent engagements include stage management for La Sonnambula, La Traviata, Le Nozze di Figaro, a benefit concert given by Jessye Norman, and world premiere performances of both Margaret Garner starring Denyce Graves, and Cyrano by David DiChiera. Ken has worked with opera companies in cities that include Philadelphia, Atlanta, Honolulu, Tucson/Phoenix, Indianapolis, Dayton and Memphis. No stranger to musical theatre, Ken recently stage managed The Music Man with our nation’s second largest theatre company, Kansas City Starlight Theatre. Ken and his partner, Duane Prill, make their home on Lamoka Lake in the Finger Lakes region. |
